She identified a novel pathway involved in the pathogenesis of Pemphigus Vulgaris and is currently working to devise an innovative diagnostic modality for oral cancer. Her teaching philosophy in her words is; “I believe the most visible mission of dental education is to develop future practitioners. Thus, the basic goals of my teaching philosophy are to educate my students for clinical practice in order for them to serve their patients and communities well and to prepare students to grow in skill and knowledge over their lifetime in practice. I believe that dentistry as a profession demands both intellectual and technical skills that depend on clinically relevant education in the basic sciences and scientifically informed education in clinical care.” |
