Dr. Nabeel Ayappali Kalluvalappil is a lecturer at the College of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. He specializes in Oral Medicine, Maxillofacial Radiology, and Clinical Periodontology.
Prior to joining USTF, Dr. Nabeel was a faculty member at several dental institutions in India, making him a highly qualified professional with proven teaching, research, and administrative expertise in his discipline. Additionally, he has established clinical skills and more than ten years of experience operating his own dental clinic. Dr. Nabeel obtained his master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Radiology from the Kerala University of Health Sciences and bachelor's degree from University of Calicut.
He specializes in the diagnosis and management of oral and maxillofacial diseases and lesions, oral cancer and precancerous lesions, TMJ disorders, dental imaging (CBCT, CT, MRI of the head and neck region, intra-oral radiography, etc.), head and neck ultrasonography, forensic odontology, periodontal procedures, and laser dentistry, among others.
With a solid experience in biostatistics and statistical software like IBM SPSS, Graph-pad Prism, and Mendeley, he has an established track record of scientific research. He has a solid and consistent grasp of learning management systems, Microsoft office, and online exam software.
Dr. Nabeel is a member of various scientific dental organizations, the author of numerous research publications in reputable international journals, and a reviewer/editor for numerous dental journals.
