Dr. Sherine Badawy is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Dentistry, USTF University, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. She graduated from Cairo University in 2001, where she earned her Master degree (2007) then Doctoral degree (2013) in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health. She was appointed as an assistant Lecturer of Pediatric Dentistry, October 6 University from 2006 till 2013, then assistant professor of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health, Fayoum University from 2014 till 2020, during which she was the director of "The Development of students’ Assessments’ tool Unit" (March 2015-June 2020), member of the Quality assurance unit of the faculty. She was promoted to acting head of the department of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health from Jan 2017- June 2020. Dr. Badawy has also been a part-time Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Misr International University MIU (Sept 2014-June 2017), Future University FUE (Sept 2017-Dec 2018) and Egyptian Russian University ERU (Oct 2018-Feb 2020). Moreover, she was a designated member of the examining board of the Egyptian Fellowship for Family Dental Medicine. Before moving to the United Arab Emirates, she was a consultant pediatric dentist in armed forces hospital, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is a registered consultant pediatric dentist in the Egyptian Dental Syndicate as well as the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. |
