Prof. Dr. Sayed Ahmad Elwakeel Professor of Clinical Psychology Faculty of Humanities & Science University of Science & Technology in Fujairah Also, I am a Professor of Clinical Psychology, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University, Egypt. and Director of Fayoum University Center for Care and Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities. -I obtained my B.A. from Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, and Alexandria University Egypt in 1998 - I obtained my master’s degree in clinical psychology in 2003 and doctorate (Ph.D) degree in Clinical Psychology, in 2006 from Benha University. Egypt. -I have 14 years of the academic experiences, including teaching, scientific research, preparing academic programs in psychology for Undergraduate and Postgraduate in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, preparing psychological Labs and Psychological services units. -I have a lot of experiences in psychological counselling and psychotherapy approximately 25 years - I worked as Assistant Professor of Psychology and Director of the Psychological Services Unit and Laboratories of Psychology, Faculty of Education, King Abdul-Aziz University, Saudi Arabia (for 4 years). - Consultant of Psychotherapy in the academic affairs deanship- king Abdul-Aziz University – Jeddah from 2010 to 2013 - I worked as associate Professor of clinical Psychology & Head of The Student Support Unit – Ibn Sina College for Medical Sciences - Jeddah - Saudi Arabia. (For two years). -I worked as consultant psychotherapy - Al Ain Care and Rehabilitation Center- Al Ain - United Arab Emirates (for 6 years). In teaching my students, I always try to keep updated with the latest developments in the field of psychology and in teaching methods and strategies. I always adopt a practical approach in teaching my students and use the proper teaching strategies for each course and level to ensure the best learning outcomes. - I am an active researcher. I published many research studies in my specialization, I published over than 40 papers in psychology. - I published some papers in ISI journals between Q2 and Q3 - I have H index - I have a rank in the world scientist and University Rankings in 2022 - I published 16 Books in Psychological Branches. - I supervised more than 30 dissertations. -I am a reviewer in a lot of local and international Journals in Psychology. - I discussed more than 72 theses of master & Doctorate degrees in different universities In Egypt. I was a member of the Strategic Planning Unit at University, where I reviewed and supported strategic projects implemented by the university within its strategic plan, coordinated the process of measuring the performance indicators of the strategic plan in all colleges at the university. Additionally, I conducted training and workshops for faculty members at the University's Faculty Development Center. I always seek personal and professional progress by attending training courses, seminars, regional and international conferences, and workshops. Since I received my Ph.D. degree to present, I focused on attending conferences, participating with other researchers and scholars worldwide, and exchanging experiences in my specialized field research and teaching |
