College of Law Participation in The World’s Largest Book-Signing Ceremony for Writers in The Sharjah International Book Fair

Dr. Mohammed Hassan Abdullah, Assistant Professor of Civil Law, and Dr. Ameen Dahmash, Assistant Professor of Penal Law, at the College of Law, University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, participated in The World’s Largest Book-Signing Ceremony for Writers in the Sharjah Book Fair. The signing ceremony was organized by the Sharjah Book Authority under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council. Ruler of Sharjah.

The 38th Sharjah International Book Fair under the slogan «Open books. Open minds», has set a Guinness World Record for the largest book signing ceremony in one venue, where 1502 writers participated in one collective signing ceremony, from various cultures around the world.

Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority Ahmed Bin Rakad Al Ameri thanked the writers, publishers and organizers who participated in the completion of the event, stressing that everyone who attended was a contributor to enhancing the value of the book, and its role in the renaissance of societies and civilizations, and building bridges of human communication between different countries of the world.
