Introduction:

University of Science and Technology of Fujairah hosted the first USTF Sustainability Forum 2023 (High School Sustainability Competition - HSSC).
The event hosted 15 schools that participated with 70 different teams and a total of 200 students. The teams and students joined the competition with their projects and ideas that showcase the innovation and creativity of high school student and their schools and their dedication for to participating in the creation of a Sustainable future for the UAE.

During the Event, 4 Teams won the grand prizes which are: Best Prototype for the team “Smart Farm” from Manarat Al Sharjah School. Best Poster for Team “Sustainable Package Material” from Gems Winchester Fujairah. The Second Place for Best Poster for Team “3D Printing with Block Chain Technology” from Our Own English High School Fujairah. The Third Place for Best Poster for Team “Mihran's” from Eminence Private School.

In addition, 13 teams won in 6 other categories, and they are 1st Place in Originality for the team “Less Pollution” from the Fujairah Islamic Scientific Academy. The 2nd Place in Originality for the team “Hydro Wind Energy Sustainability” from Gems Winchester Fujairah.The 1st Place in Project Design for team “Turathuna” from Al Dhahra Girls School. The 2nd Place in Project Design for the team “Eco Sustainability” from Saif Bin Hamad Alsharqi School. The 1st Place in Methodology for the team “Aisha’s” from Eminence Private School. The 2nd Place in Methodology for “Fujairah 2.0: A sustainable city for a thriving future” from Diyar Private Academy. The 1st Place in Presentation for team “Sustainability Creators” from Saif Bin Hamad Alsharqi School. The 2nd Place in Presentation for team “Water Sustainability and Conservation” from Gems Winchester Fujairah. The 3rd place in Presentation for team “Aen Amaqdes Alakhder” from Emirates Private School. The 1st Place in Contribution to Sustainability went to team “Sustainable City” from Our Own English High School Fujairah. The 2nd Place in Contribution to Sustainability for “Sustainability Creators” from Saif Bin Hamad Alsharqi School. The 1st Place in Applicability for team “Phishing Attacks” from Al Shola Private School – Ajman. And Finally, the 2nd Place in Applicability went to “EcoSphere” from Al Shola American School.
