DEWA virtual tour

Within the framework of cooperation with public institutions to know the latest techniques used in generating electric power and implement the highest standards of sustainability recommended in this field. The Department of Electrical Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Youmna Shaker, in coordination with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), organized a virtual tour for students on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

During the tour, students learned how to generate electricity and water distillation while also reviewing the authority's future plans to increase available energy and improve the efficiency of renewable energy sources as an important component of sustainability.
