Health Promotion Corner” in collaboration with Life Pharmacies LLC

As per university's efforts to enrich the health awareness of its beloved community of students and staff members especially during the global pandemicity of COVID19, the USTF Office of Events held an interactive on-campus event titled “Health Promotion Corner” in collaboration with Life Pharmacies LLC at the conference hall of USTF. Campaign which lasted two days from 26th to 27th of September 2021, included free primary health indicators checkups including Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Body Mass Index, Pulse rate, and Oxygen saturation. In addition to that, the participants got pharmaceutical care advices and immune booster samples of vitamins and minerals under the supervision of licensed pharmacist.
During the 2nd day of the event, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences organized an interactive awareness session to focus on the updates of COVID19 pandemicity and the new measures to prevent the transmission and progression of the aliment. The session included a 10 minutes Q&A section to test the perception of attendees toward the event goals. The event were attended by Dr. Ahemd Zainelabdin – Vice chancellor of administrative and financial affairs, Prof. Sumia Ser Elkhatim – Dean of College of Pharmacy – and students from various USTF majors in addition to academic and administrative staff members from different departments at USTF.
