Awarding COPHS volunteers in EXPO 2020 Dubai

Within an international festive atmosphere, and in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak - Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence - and Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai, EXPO 2020 Dubai held and awarding ceremony for all those who participated in organizing Expo 2020 Dubai, including both members of the College of Pharmacy Mr. Tarek Shahin - Teaching Assistant, and Sarah Al Yamahi - third year student at the college.
Earlier, during Expo 2020 Dubai, student Sarah Al Yamahi participated in the media team in the first phase of the Expo. This team is responsible for organizing communication with various media teams from various media stations.
Mr. Tarek Shahin enrolled in the second and third phases of the Expo with the operations teams, which is concerned with organizing daily activities and dealing with the public from different cultures visiting the exhibition.
It is worth noting that Mr. Tarek Shahin titled also as an Ambassador of the Expo 2020 Dubai, crowning his efforts in serving the Expo beyond the limits of his daily tasks in order to make the Expo experience an unforgettable event in the minds of its visitors.
Her Excellency Prof. Sumia Sir El-Khatim - Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - is pleased with the dedication shown by the honored members of the college in their voluntary tasks, which the college strives for making volunteering and community service an integral part of their daily culture to serve the goals of the college's social responsibility.
