College of Humanities and Sciences at ‘USTF organized a distinctive event as part of the Innovation Month activities.

This event consisted of a lecture on "Modern Technologies and Applications for People with Disabilities", presented by Ms. Marwa Al Mazmi from the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services - Kalba Branch. The lecture discussed the latest developments in the field of technology and modern techniques that contribute to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
The event also saw the participation of psychology department students presenting a project on "Using Technology and Metaverses to Enhance Mental Health", targeting individuals who suffer from significant phobias related to heights. The event was attended by students and faculty members of the College of Humanities and Sciences.
This event reflects the university's commitment to promoting innovation and engaging with the community, providing a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge in areas of general interest to society and specifically for people with disabilities.
