Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, honored Dr. Enas Al-Khalidi, associate professor, and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Abdullah, assistant professor of civil law at the College of Law

Brigadier General Mohammed bin Naieh Al Tunaiji, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, honored Dr. Enas Al-Khalidi, associate professor, and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Abdullah, assistant professor of civil law at the College of Law, for their contribution to the cyber security and legal challenges workshop organized by the Fujairah Police General Command.

Dr. Enas Al-Khalidi, Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the College of Law, and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Abdullah, Assistant Professor of Civil Law, gave two lectures on the legal regulation of cyber security, international attempts to coordinate cooperation in this field, and efforts to prepare binding international agreements. The national legislation in the United Arab Emirates regulating various aspects of cyber security was addressed, such as the law on combating information technology crimes, electronic terrorism and the protection of personal data, and the comprehensiveness of these legislations was emphasized.

The importance of the Personal Data Protection Law was noted, which defines the various legal aspects of the legitimate processing of personal data, its controls, the obligations of those responsible for it, and the rights of data owners.

His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief praised the joint cooperation between the General Command of Fujairah Police and the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah, praised the efforts of the university in serving local community institutions, and stressed the need for continued cooperation and the organization of more events aimed at upgrading the capabilities and knowledge of the employees of the Fujairah Police General Command.
