Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs signs a memorandum of understanding with the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah
Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, establishing a permanent and evolving partnership in support of education and healthcare in Fujairah, serving the community, and achieving the strategic goals of both parties.
The MOU was signed on behalf of Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs by Mr. Suhail Rashid Al Qadi, Director of the Foundation, and on behalf of the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah by Prof. Ali Abouelnour, Chancellor of the University.
The MOU stipulates the enhancement of constructive cooperation between the two bodies, and the establishment of strategic relations between both parties on institutional basis. Such strategic relation ensures the continuation and development of this partnership in serving all the target segments of society, benefiting from the professional cadres of each party in preparing the necessary studies, programs and projects. The exchange of visits and joint meetings between the Foundation and the University with the purpose of supporting education and assisting the university students facing financial difficulties, within the conditions and rules agreed upon by the two parties.
Mr. Suhail al-Qadi, director of Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs, said: The signing of this MOU comes within the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Muhammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs, in implementing strategic plans and building bridges of cooperation with community institutions in various fields of mutual interest, and supporting the education and healthcare in the Emirate of Fujairah, in cooperation with the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah
Prof. Ali Abouelnour, Chancellor of the University, stressed the importance of the MOU in enhancing cooperation between the University and the Foundation, especially in the area of supporting University students facing financial difficulties. Helping such target group in paying their tuition fees towards completion of their university study is one domain of wider and diverse cooperation with Hamad Bin Muhammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs in the future. He added that the mission of the university focuses on supporting excellence in education, healthcare and strategic partnerships, to serve the sustainable development of Fujairah and the UAE.
