Innovation in Law and Future Outlook Program - Day One Launch

Fujairah, February 20, 2024 - The Ministry of Justice, represented by the Federal First Instance Court in Fujairah, in collaboration with the College of Law, successfully inaugurated the second edition of the Innovation in Law and Future Outlook Program on Monday, February 20, 2024. The program is scheduled to run for three days.

The launch of the program coincided with the Innovation Month celebrated by the United Arab Emirates. The aim of the program is to explore innovative legal ideas that serve the justice sector and facilitate judicial procedures for stakeholders.

The opening ceremony was attended by directors from various government and private institutions in the Emirate of Fujairah. From the university side, His Excellency Dr. Ali Abu Al-Noor, the University Director, Professor Dr. Malhem Al-Douri, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, and Dr. Issa Al-Rabdi, the Dean of the College of Law, were present, along with several faculty members from both colleges.

Immediately after the opening, the program's workshops commenced, with participation from approximately twenty teams representing different institutions.

The Innovation in Law and Future Outlook Program reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Justice and the College of Law to fostering creativity and advancement in the legal field. As the program unfolds over the next three days, it is anticipated to yield valuable insights and ideas that contribute to the enhancement of the justice system.
