One specialist workshop and different hats In Drama Therapy
Monday 26-09-2022 for female students
Tuesday 27-09-2022 for Male Students
Counseling and Happiness Center (CHC) provided a workshop of one specialist and several hats and the significance behind this interactive activity is to allow students to consciously explore and link the different roles they play in the therapeutic session and in different professions as a psychologist, social worker, doctor, engineer... From (listener, observer, facilitator, analyst, leader, mentor....)
Artistic materials were brought and given 30 minutes to each participant to make his own hat. The activity then became more specific as they chose between 4 roles (the most challenging, the most cheerful hat, the most neglected hat, and the magic hat). They were given 10 minutes to create a hat-specific story. Exchanging and sharing stories and other activities took place during the workshop.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Shimaa Basha, Associate Professor of Psychology, and the students expressed their desire to repeat such distinguished workshops that helped them to regain their activity and start their lectures more actively.
