The event comes in the Year of Tolerance, entitled 'Smile and Shine', which aims to promote the concept of dental care in children through the contribution of local institutions that effectively promoting the delivery of services to the community. The event was hosted more than 45 children, in addition to many of those interested in education and childcare.
The "Smile and Shine" activity aimed to provide a creative and entertaining learning environment through various creative activities and games like hand printing, face painting and planting seeds, simple valuable information about the importance of oral health and healthy diet was given in a form of a play done by the university students. Prof. Doctor Ali Abou El nour, chancellor of University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, said: “This event has added a real joy to the children and the participants.
