Table Tennis Finals at the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah
The curtains have fallen on the table tennis championship at the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah, featuring the participation of 24 students representing various colleges. They displayed commendable and strong performances throughout the competition, which kicked off on October 17, 2023, and concluded on October 23, 2023. During this period, student Abdullah Al-Raisi from the College of Engineering clinched first place. Following closely, Mahmoud Al-Koumi from the College of Pharmacy secured the second place, while Ahmed Amin Dahmash from the College of Engineering secured the third place.
The crowning ceremony was attended by Dr. Samah Khamees, the Director of Admissions and Registration, along with Ramzi Ghanim, the sports supervisor, and a large gathering of students. Professor Dr. Ali Abu Elnour, the University Director, emphasized the significant success achieved by the championship and praised the high level of skill demonstrated by the participating students. He affirmed the university's strong commitment to sports and recreational activities as an integral part of the educational system. This commitment is reflected in the organization of various events and championships, as well as the provision of a suitable environment for academic excellence.
