"Take Care of Your Heart" Initiative

As part of the ongoing efforts to promote mental and physical health in the university community and the local community, the Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Sciences at the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah organized a special initiative on the occasion of World Heart Day, under the slogan "Take Care of Your Heart" organized by the department's students under the supervision of Dr. Shaimaa Pasha. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining heart health, and motivate participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Roses bearing the campaign logo were distributed and attendees left their fingerprints to confirm their participation, support and interest in maintaining heart health. The event was distinguished by the presence and participation of His Excellency the University Director, Professor Dr. Ali Abu Al-Nour, and guests of the university. The students participated in the campaign and supported their efforts. His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Faisal Al-Mutalqa, also encouraged the students and praised their efforts. A group of faculty and administrative staff, university students and university guests from Al Sharq Hospital participated in the event. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Department of Psychology at the University of Science and Technology, Fujairah, to promote community health and achieve a balance between mental and physical health. The university will continue to organize such events to raise awareness about important health issues and encourage individuals to adopt healthy behaviors that contribute to improving their quality of life.
