College of Business Administration at the University of Science & Technology of Fujairah and in Collaboration with the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) in UAE on the occasion of the World Investor Week 20222, organized a Seminar Entitled “The principles of investment and effective financial planning.”
The Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Ahmed Zain Elabdin, explained the importance of such seminars. They are based on the vision of the University to raise interaction with the Business Community.
Mr. Abdulla Al-Abdouli – Awareness & Financial Inclusion Section Head at "SCA," stated that this event comes in line with World Investor Week, which is organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The (World Investor Week) WIW2022 promotes investment awareness. In addition, it develops the investment culture among small investors new to investing in the financial market and workers in the financial services sector. (Such as intermediaries).
Mrs. Rola Chiekha, Certified Trainer & Specialist at "SCA," gave a short overview of the authority and its supervisory role in supervising the securities and commodity markets in the UAE. First, Mrs Rola Reviewed the establishment and development that the authority has gone through and then explained the importance of investment and effective financial planning, especially in the stock markets. In addition, the many opportunities that young people must gain might help them in effective financial planning for their future.
The Seminar witnessed remarkable participation in Deans, Faculties Members, and Students.
