The College of Law in cooperation with the Fujairah E-Government Department, organized a symposium on electronic commerce.

The College of Law at the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah, in cooperation with the Fujairah E-Government Department, organized a symposium on electronic commerce. In it, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Shami, Head of the Information Security Department in the department, spoke about the concept of electronic commerce, its types, advantages, disadvantages, and future prospects, and the importance of educating the public about the dangers of electronic commerce and the safety rules that should be observed to avoid the risks of piracy. He also explained the departments and branches of the Fujairah E-Government Department, its tasks and achievements.

     At the end of the lecture, Dr Ahmed Al-Shami answered the audience’s questions, and Dr Issa Al-Rabadi, Dean of the College, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr Ahmed and to the Fujairah E-Government Department represented by Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi for the generous response to the seminar, which he hoped would be a fruitful opening for constructive and continuous cooperation between the College of Law and Fujairah E-Government Department.
