The first meeting of the Alumni Association Council was held: A new step to enhance communication and professional support

Today, 11/12/2024, the first meeting of the Alumni Association Council was held at the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, With the participation of a number of members of the Alumni Association Council, consisting of 13 members from the elite of the university graduates, to elect a president, vice president, secretary, and public relations coordinator in the Alumni Association Council, and discussing the association’s future initiatives and plans that aim to support graduates, strengthen ties between members, and enhance their professional development opportunities. The elections of the Alumni Association Council resulted in the selection of: Graduate / Abdulla Rashed Mosabbah Khamis Alyammahi, Chairman of the Council Graduate / Mayed Abdalla Juma Abdalla Almarashda, Vice Chairman of the Council Graduate / Hessa lsmail Mohammed yousif albloshi, Public Relations Officer of the Council Graduate / Maha Khamies Abdulla Bin Al Shaikh Al Hashmi, Secretary of the Council Graduate / Khaled Abdulla Mohamed Alwatani Al-Ali , Member Graduate / Abdulla Saif Mohamed Aletr Aldhanhani , Member Graduate / Rashid Saeed Saif Alnaqbi , Member Graduate / Ahmed Ameen Abdo Dahmash , Member Graduate / Mohamad ayman nassif , Member Graduate / Maha Mubarak Abdulla Mohamed Aldhaheri , Member Graduate / Sarah Mohammed Hassan , Member Graduate / Athary saeed abdulla alyammahi , Member Graduate / Sanaa Ali Saeed Mohamed Alhamoudi , Member
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the most important goals it seeks to achieve. The president of the Association, Abdulla Alyammahi, pointed out the importance of establishing an integrated community of graduates that constitutes a platform for communication and exchange of experiences, which enhances job opportunities and professional support for its members. Plans were also discussed to organize specialized workshops and training courses in various fields that meet the needs of the evolving labour market and contribute to developing graduates' skills. Various initiatives were discussed that aim to connect new graduates with experienced graduates in their fields, provide professional advice and guidance, and facilitate building strong communication networks. The meeting also witnessed proposals to launch an interactive electronic platform that facilitates communication between members and provides educational resources available to all those registered in the Association. At the end of the meeting, participants expressed their optimism about this step, with one member saying: “This beginning is a great incentive for us to work together and contribute to creating valuable professional opportunities that will help achieve our ambitions.” The next meeting is scheduled to be held next month to follow up on the implementation of the plans and review the achievements, in addition to adopting new ideas that support the aspirations of graduates and their position in society.
