Class activities related to the production of public relations materials

Within the framework of the objectives of the media production for public relations, which is to clarify aspects of the process of preparing and producing public relations materials such as brochures, press releases, brochures, posters, taking out photographs and commenting on them, audio and visual materials, as well as the technical and production stages of various printed, audio and visual media materials, and the extent of the impact of developing technology on it,
Some practical activities in which male and female students participate have been identified that serve the material and achieve some outputs, such as the student being able to distinguish between the types of media materials for public relations and their areas of use, and that he has the ability to employ modern technology in the production of public relations materials, and to prepare and produce Public relations media materials.
These activities were represented in the participation of male and female students and the professor of the course by attending some of the workshops offered by the Media Office of the Government of Sharjah, the content of which is closely related to the vocabulary and objectives of the course.
The first workshop was on March 1, 2022, entitled Social Media Pages Design, in which it was clarified how to design public relations materials on social networking sites.
The second workshop was on March 3, 2022, entitled Skills for Verifying Information on Social Media, and it also included some public relations materials.
There was a great interaction between male and female students with the workshop providers, and all participants received certificates of attendance.
He assigned the students to make detailed reports about the two workshops, the extent to which they benefited, and how to link with the vocabulary of the media production for public relations.
