The University of Science and Technology of Fujairah celebrates Emirati Children's Day
The College of Humanities and Sciences - Department of Sociology and Social Work, in cooperation with the Fujairah Scientific Islamic Academy, participated in the celebration of the Emirati Children's Day, On Wednesday 24-03-2021, At five o'clock PM, by presenting an educational lecture under the title (The Right of the Child to Play), in which a number of parents and students of the Fujairah Islamic Scientific Academy attended.
presented by Dr. Asma Ahmed, Assistant Professor - Department of Sociology & Social Work, where she talked about the importance of play as one of the rights of the child that is no less important than other rights, and its implications on the child and its impact on building himself and refining his personality from various physical, psychological, mental and social aspects in the future.
The celebration of this day comes in honor of childhood and children dear to our hearts, and an affirmation of the need to secure all their rights, and in line with the commitment of the government of the United Arab Emirates to preserve the rights of the child, and the keenness of the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah to enhance the prospects for cooperation with various community institutions.
