The University of Science and Technology of Fujairah held a two-day training workshop in cooperation with the UAE Red Crescent with participation of staff and students.

During the workshop, Asma Saif Al Naqbi of the Red Crescent spoke about first aid and the importance of dealing with various accidents, considering the general safety rules when treating the injured, and conducting the necessary measures for each case of injury before the arrival of specialized paramedics.
He also talked about how to conduct first aid in a timely manner for various accidents, including dressing wounds, burns, fractures, bruises, bleeding, insect bites, poisoning and various respiratory diseases and correcting errors resulting from some bad habits in dealing with various accidents at home, before transporting the injured to health centers or closer hospital.
Prof. Ali Abou El-nour, chancellor University of Science and Technology of Fujairah, said that the university seeks to implement many awareness and training activities on campus, especially among students for health awareness, pointing out that the workshop aims to raise the competence of the participating students and provide them with the life skills and skills necessary for the advancement of themselves and their communities Which will positively reflect on society.
