University of Fujairah Enhances Its Community Role by Participating in the “Sanabel AlMahabah” Festival to Support People of Determination in Kalba

As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, a delegation from the Student Affairs Department and the Department of Psychology at the College of Arts and Humanities, University of Fujairah—accompanied by the Student Council—took part in the activities of the “Sanabel AlMahabah” Festival organized by the Humanitarian Services Center in Kalba. The festival aims to empower people of determination to integrate actively into society and to open avenues of cooperation with various institutions to provide them with both financial and moral support.
During the visit, the University of Fujairah delegation emphasized the importance of supporting initiatives for people of determination, in line with the United Arab Emirates’ vision of offering unlimited assistance to this group and enabling their full participation in the nation’s development journey.

Dr. Faisal AlMutalqah, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, stated:

“Our participation in the ‘Sanabel AlMahabah’ Festival reaffirms the University’s mission to foster solidarity and shared responsibility toward all members of society, especially people of determination who deserve every form of support.”

Ms. Ghoneimah AlRuqbani, Director of Student Affairs, added:

“Our students benefited from this field experience by learning about the needs of people of determination, which contributes to building a generation that is aware of its community’s issues and capable of devising creative solutions to serve them.”

This initiative forms part of a series of programs and activities that the University of Fujairah implements to strengthen its relationship with the local community and embody its vision founded on partnership, innovation, and empowerment.
