University of Fujairah Students Shine in UAE Hackathon 2025

Today's Challenges, Tomorrow's Solutions In a remarkable achievement showcasing the creativity of its students, the University of Fujairah participated in the UAE Hackathon 2025, held under the theme "Today's Challenges, Tomorrow's Solutions". Teams from the College of Arts and Humanities – Department of Psychology, the College of Law, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Engineering – Departments of Renewable Energy and Cybersecurity, and the College of Dentistry advanced to the final stage of the competition. The final presentations took place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) headquarters in Dubai. Students delivered their outstanding ideas and solutions before a distinguished judging panel, addressing pressing national challenges across sectors such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, mental health, legal innovation, and pharmaceutical technologies. The students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, innovation, and teamwork, leaving a strong impression on attendees and evaluators alike. Projects were assessed based on creativity, feasibility, and potential social impact. This participation highlights the University of Fujairah’s ongoing commitment to empowering its students and engaging them in national innovation initiatives that foster applied learning, civic responsibility, and a forward-looking mindset.
