University of Science and Technology of Fujairah participates in the first meeting of Roamers(Jawali) and Young Women from the Emirates.

                

 Under the auspices of the Student Affairs Deanship and in coordination with the Pioneers Student Club, a group of students of the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah participated in the first meeting of roamers (Jawali) and young women in the UAE who follow the hybrid system of education. The activity lasted from 28 to 31 March 2021 with full enforcement of all the precautionary measures and the application of distance spacing to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the participants. This event was under the academic supervision of Dr. Asma Mustafa and the sporting supervision of Mr. Ramzi Ghoneim.

 The event was organized by the Emirates Scout Association in cooperation with the Sharjah Scout Commission, and in coordination with the Sharjah Girl Guides Commission.  The meeting included many daily activities and events related to multiple fields such as scouting knowledge, innovation and technology, public service, and scouting talents. The program also included educational meetings about the scouting experiences of Emirati youth, enhancing digital awareness among young people, in addition to presenting daily sessions on youth talents and public competitions.

 Students Ahmed Muhammad Al Zahmi, Ali Al Yamahi, Manar Muhammad Al Naqbi, and Nawal Ibrahim Al Balushi received the Scout Excellence Award for their effective contributions to community service activities, various events and competitions.

 This participation of the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah shows its keen interest in developing students' capabilities and skills in the Scout field, reinforcing positive citizenship values, activating youth participation in community activities and teamwork, and enhancing prospects for cooperation with various community institutions.
