University of Science and Technology of Fujairah Signs Agreement with Cordoba University in Spain
The University of Science and Technology of Fujairah on Thursday signed an MoU with Cordoba university to encourage scientific and academic collaboration between the two varsities. The MoU and Exchange Agreement was signed by his excellency Prof. Dr. Ali Abou-Elnour, Chancellor of the USTF, and his excellency Prof. Dr. José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, Chancellor of Cordoba University.
The aim of the collaboration between the two varsities is to take up activities of mutual interest. Some of the specific objectives are the pursuit of scientific and academic collaboration between academic and research centers of the two institutions, exchange of faculty/staff and students, as well as organizing faculty development programs.
Other objectives will be joint organization of seminars, conferences, and academic workshops on topics of mutual interest, organization of cultural exchange programs in both institutions, exchange of expertise in the revision of existing curricular programs in order to respond to the current demands of industry and other employment generating entities.
The following goals also will be based on the European Union Eramus plus student exchange program, which facilitates funds for students' mobility among international universities, as well as the collaboration on Ph.D. programs.
