USTF-CBA Students Visit Masafi Water Compan

a group of students from the College of Business Administration at University of Science and technology of Fujairah visited the Masafi Water Company in Masafi, United Arab Emirates. The visit was organized by the college and supervised by Dr. Abdallah Elamin (Dean), Dr. Ahmed Zein Elabdin, Dr. Hazem Aldabass and Dr. Liza Germal,
to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the company's operations and how they relate to the topics they are studying in class.
The students were greeted by a team of Masafi Water Company representatives who gave them a tour of the facility. The tour included visits to the company's bottling plant,
water purification plant, and quality control laboratory. The students learned about the different stages of the water bottling process, from the sourcing of the water to the bottling and distribution of the finished product.
In addition to the tour, the students also had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Masafi Water Company representatives on the company's safety, production processes, supply chain management and human resources management practices. The students were particularly interested in learning about how the company manages its supply chain and operations to ensure that it has a constant supply of high-quality water, and how it recruits, trains, and retains its employees.
The visit to Masafi Water Company was a valuable learning experience for the students. They were able to see firsthand how the company applies the business principles they are learning in class to its daily operations. The students also had the opportunity to ask questions and network with Masafi Water Company representatives.
