USTF Participates in a Voluntary Work Event
On Saturday 16 April, the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah (USTF) participated, under the supervision of Dr. Magda Elobeid, in the voluntary work event organized by the Social Services Department in the city of Kalba as part of the month of Ramadan special activities.
Based on the traditional offering food to the needy at the break of fasting, this evening activity is one of the most observed social practices during the holy month as it reflects humanitarian values characteristic of the Emirate society. Not only that, but the practice also reinforces the concepts of cooperation and community engagement, which are fundamental to USTF’s mission.
