College of Humanities and Sciences - Department of Sociology and Social Work

A group of female students of the College of Humanities and Sciences - Department of Sociology and Social Service, under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Matalka, paid a scientific visit to the Museum of Traditional Crafts - Khor Fakkan, on Thursday 5-3-2021. The delegation was received by Mr. Khaled Ahmed Obaid Al Shehhi - Director of the Sharjah Heritage Institute / Khorfakkan Branch, who in turn welcomed everyone. The museum supervisors made a presentation on the museum’s history and how it contributes to preserving the cultural and social heritage of the UAE society.

Dr. Faisal Matalka and the students thanked Mr. Khaled Al Shehhi and all the staff at the museum for their warm welcome and generous hospitality, and a certificate of thanks was presented in the name of the university to Mr. Khaled Al Shehhi.
