Waqf in Islamic jurisprudence and UAE law and its impact on development

The College of Law held a symposium entitled. Waqf in Islamic jurisprudence and UAE law and its impact on development.

Presented by both Dr. Khalaf Mohammed and Dr. Muhammad Hassan. And managed by Dr. Ameen Dahmash, at  eight o'clock in the evening on Monday 1-3-2021, and was attended by many students of the College of Law now, including former graduate students and some guests.

The symposium dealt with the doctrinal rooting of the Waqf project and how the Waqf had previously enriched life economically, socially and scientifically from the era of the Companions to the present era.

The speakers also dealt with the UAE Waqf law, whether federal or local, such as the Waqf law in Dubai.

The symposium highlighted the conditions of the endowment and how the Emirati legislator benefited from Islamic jurisprudence, by taking the broadest opinions. Then some professors commented on the subject. The symposium was concluded by Questions were asked by the attendees and students.
