World Diabetes Day Event

The university's Community Service & Extracurricular activities Committee organized a lecture on Health Awareness on Diabetes presented by Dr. Salsabil from Thumbay hospital-Fujairah. The lecture was attended by an appreciable number of university employees and students. Providing this lecture offered the opportunity to understand the main definition of diabetes, causative factors, treatment, and importance of good health practice.
Following the presentation, the hospital offered Free Consultation, Sugar Checkup, and guidance on maintaining good health practices.
The Community Service & Extracurricular activities Committee coordinated and supervised the event to achieve the university's vision of sustainability in health awareness for all its employees and students to preserve the health of all.
