Schools Artificial Intelligence Competition

Introduction:

The University of Science and Technology of Fujairah (USTF) is pleased to announce an open invitation to all high schools to take part in this exciting competition. USTF's mission is to encourage creativity among area high school students and to highlight their accomplishments in this area. We have faith in the potential of young minds and the transformative power of exploration. The purpose of the conference is to explore deeply into the field of AI. We want students to think critically, and creatively, and find solutions that may impact the future of artificial intelligence.

Competition Sectors:

We look forward to welcoming you to [AI Era - Unleash the Potential] and witnessing the transformative AI ideas that emerge from your students by presenting their projects and posters in front of a jury committee from experience in the field. The competition topics are primarily focused on UAE artificial intelligence sectors, including but not limited to:

Transport sector
Health sector
Space sector
Renewable Energy Sector
Water sector
Technology sector
Education sector

Competition and sector winners will be rewarded with exciting prizes.

Judging criteria:

Presentation: The way participants present their innovations and ideas, including the clarity, organization, and effectiveness of their explanations.
Innovation: The extent to which the proposed solutions demonstrate novel and creative approaches to solving problems or addressing challenges.
Applicability: The practicality and relevance of the concepts, whether they can be realistically implemented to solve real-world issues or have practical utility.
Originality: The uniqueness and distinctiveness of the innovations, indicating whether they stand out from existing solutions in the field.

Participation terms:

Team members are current school students
The maximum team size should not exceed three members.
Submission Deadline Date: 20th of October 2023
submissions will be revised by the USTF scientific committee to assess their appropriateness and eligibility.
Eligible teams will be announced by maximum 23rd of October 2023

Competition Date and Venue:

The competition will take place at the University of Science and Technology of Fujairah on the 2nd of November 2023 from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM followed by an announcement of winners at 05:00 PM at the Conference Hall of the University.
