Celebrations at the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah on the fiftieth anniversary of National Day.

Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Science and Technology in Fujairah, the university celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of National Day. The celebration took place on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the university's headquarters, with the attendance of His Highness and the implementation of all precautionary measures and preventive measures.

In his speech during the celebrations, the University's Director, Professor Dr. Ali Abu Al-Nour, expressed gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and their Excellencies the Sheikhs, members of the Board of Trustees, and the guests in attendance for participating in the university's celebrations on the fiftieth anniversary of National Day and the beginning of the comprehensive development of the United Arab Emirates, led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, along with his fellow founding fathers. The University's Director also extended congratulations and blessings on this auspicious occasion to the people of the UAE, His Highness the President of the State, His Highness the Vice President of the State, and Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council of the Union, may God preserve them all as a source of pride for the nation.

The University's Director emphasized that the university's celebrations of National Day not only aim to showcase the UAE's heritage, culture, and arts through presentations but also convey a message to highlight what has been and is being done to build the modern civilization of the UAE through diligent work translating visionary future perspectives based on noble principles, love, peace, and tolerance that embrace people worldwide. This has resulted in the achievements of the UAE, which have made it a focal point, as demonstrated in the exhibitions accompanying the university's celebrations. The celebrations also witnessed the launch of an electronic archive site for the achievements of the UAE to achieve sustainability by documenting all previous and upcoming achievements. Additionally, the university announced the launch of a mobile application for the achievements of the UAE, making it the first in this field, keeping pace with modern technologies and meeting the needs of all segments of society.

He added that the university will continue to achieve its strategic priority by offering distinguished programs accredited locally and internationally, impactful and published research in reputable international scientific journals, and by partnering with international universities, as well as local government departments, agencies, and institutions in the emirate and the country. This is to provide effective services to all segments of society, with a focus on maintaining modern infrastructure capable of delivering services to its affiliates and students according to the best standards, especially during the past pandemic period. The university will continue to be a leading educational institution in confronting challenges and achieving its vision and mission to be one of the prominent universities in the region, continuing its mission to build individuals and elevate the structure to achieve a dignified life for the happiest people, God willing.
